- LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) provides a set of tools that web developers can use to design, develop, test and deliver web-based applications. This course will walk the new user through the process of installing and configuring the Linux operating system, the Apache web server, the MySQL database application and the PHP server scripting language. The course also covers how to maintain and trouble-shoot the system. Students will also get a quick introduction to using PHP to create data-driven web applications.
